Very rare ashtray from the Prince George Hotel in New York. It was made in Limoges France by GDA (GD for E. Gerard et Dufraiuseix, and the A for Abbot, who was the importer).  This ashtray does NOT have the third hallmark usually seen in later made Prince George Hotel ashtrays. This ashtray is also missing a decorative detail along the outer trim area, making this piece very unique.
The gold trim shows a lot of wear on this piece. However, the main colors remain bright, both hallmarks on the back are very good, and there are no chips or cracks.  This piece is a true treasure to have in your home!
Measurements are approximately 4¾" by 3". The difference in the ashtray's color is the 'main' picture is under direct light, the second picture is not under direct light.  Please don't hesitate to ask any questions before purchasing.
