Antique milk or syrup pitcher with metal hinged lid. This piece is very nice for its age. Note, there are nicks in the porcelain pour spout.  This piece is approximately 7" tall and 4" at the base. 
Designed and painted by hand, it is very unique, and shows to have a patent pending from years ago! I believe this lid was supposed to be easier to use than others and never lost!
