Antique primitive beehive jug with single. loop handle, measures 10" tall. There is a small triangular chip near the base that does not go through the jug.  You can tell by the paint coat overlap that this jug was made for a purpose compared to an aesthetical purpose.  
An old wire, used to keep the top attached, is still seen around the neck of the bottle.  There are no markings on the bottom of this jug as most likely made by a family member.
