Vintage is timeless. As the days go by, the months go by, and the years go by, so do our beloved memories of our favorite things, favorite toys, favorite things we saw in the kitchen. They become part of us, which soon becomes part of our memories.
That's why vintage products mean a lot to us. These are 'things' that were not thrown away by someone else but were tossed away by us. We find them and our eyes light up with a past smell, picture, or saying we may have used around them. Those vintage items somehow are a part of us, before the 'throw away' era began.
So now the long-lost treasure becomes vintage because time did not stop. Time marched on our favorite toy, our so sought item we couldn't quite reach, or just a worn out good friend that was donated away. These timeless treasures are now to be enjoyed again within our new home and our aged memories. How wonderful time can be after all!
